Operations Command

South Brunswick Police Department’s Operations Command manages the duties and responsibilities of the Patrol Division. Patrol Division’s primary mission is protecting the welfare and safety of the approximately 45,000 people who reside within the township’s 42 square miles. Officers respond to approximately 80,000 calls for service a year ranging from first-aid to violent offender apprehension. They are responsible for traffic enforcement, motor vehicle crash investigations, initial criminal investigations, and a pro-active response to a multitude of calls for service that impact South Brunswick residents’ quality of life. The Operations Command is under the command of Captain Ron Seaman.

Administration Command

South Brunswick Police Department’s Administration Command provides leadership, expertise, investigative support, and appropriate resources that support line operations and investigate reported criminal activity. Administration Command personnel also provide training to the agency’s personnel, oversee the accreditation process, and provide communications and dispatch services to the police department, fire departments, and first aid squads. Administration Command is under the command of Captain Jeffrey Russo.

Community Services Command

South Brunswick Police Department’s Community Services Command provides services to the community designed to prevent or reduce crime, build community partnerships and collaboration, improve personal safety and security, and to enhance traffic safety within the township. The Community Services Command includes the Community Policing Division and the Traffic Safety Division, and is under the command of Captain Gene Rickle.
