I would like to welcome you to the South Brunswick Township Police Department website. Our agency is at the crossroads of New Jersey and the forefront of progressive policing. This website provides the latest information on events and activities around our community. It also gives direct access to the various bureaus within our agency. The mission of the South Brunswick Police Department is to provide effective and efficient police services, through a partnership with the community, to prevent and deter crime as well as reduce the fear of crime, protect property and individual rights, and improve traffic safety through education and enforcement.

Crimes, incidents, and suspicious activities that require an immediate police response may be reported through 9-1-1, or by calling 732-329-4646. These crimes include:

  • Crimes in Progress
  • Motor vehicle crash with injuries
  • Fire
  • Medical emergency
  • Suspicious activities

Some crimes and incidents that DO NOT require an immediate police response may be reported online.

You may also report these crimes and incidents by calling 732-329-4646, or by visiting Police Headquarters at 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.

The Chief of Police 

is head of the police force appointed by the Township and responsible for the routine day to day operations of the police department, administering and enforcing the laws in order to protect life and property, and to prevent crime. Click here for more information about our Chief of Police.

CALEA Public Comment Portal

 

The South Brunswick Police Department is a CALEA (The Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies) Certified Agency. In continuing our status as such, we must provide the public the ability to post comments directly to CALEA about the services we provide.
