LOWER MILLSTONE WATERSHED PLAN

Public Meeting: July 14, 2026, starting at 6 p.m.

The Montgomery Township has received a grant from NJDEP to develop an U.S. Environmental Protection nine element watershed management plan for the Lower Millstone Watershed.  The Montgomery Township is working with the municipalities in the Lower Millstone to develop this plan.  Montgomery, Franklin, South Brunswick, Princeton, Hopewell Township, Hopewell Borough, Manville, and Rocky Hill have agreed to work together to develop the plan.  The group is working with The Watershed Institute to develop this plan. 

The public is invited to attend the meeting to understand watershed management planning and to provide information regarding flooding, water pollution, stream erosion, falling stormwater basins, etc.  A survey will be conducted for three weeks from the meeting to solicit this information.
