PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF ORDINANCE FINAL ADOPTION/STATEMENT

AND SUMMARY       

       The Ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted after a public hearing thereon at a meeting of the Township Council of the Township of South Brunswick, New Jersey held on June 3, 2026, and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such Ordinance can be commenced has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement.  Copies of the full Ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Office of the Township Clerk in the Township Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey for members of the general public who request the same. The summary of the terms of such Ordinance follows:

Title:       ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH BRUNSWICK, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:4-53 TO FUND A DIGITAL GIS TAX MAPPING PROGRAM FOR THE TOWNSHIP

Purpose:  To pay the costs of a special emergency appropriation to fund the cost of a digital GIS tax mapping program for the Township.

    Appropriation:                    $325,000

    Bonds/Notes Authorized:      $325,000
