Public Hearing Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Township of South Brunswick (the “Township”) Middlesex County, New Jersey, will hold a public hearing on August 12, 2026 at 7:00 pm, at South Brunswick Municipal Building – Main Meeting Room, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction NJ to conduct a preliminary investigation of property commonly known as 4375 US Route 1 and identified as Block 99 Lot 11.10 on the official tax map of the Township of South Brunswick (collectively, the “Study Area”) and to review the preliminary investigation report prepared concerning the Study Area.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the purpose of the preliminary investigation and the preliminary investigation report is to determine whether the Study Area should be designated by the Council of the Township of South Brunswick as a Non-Condemnation Area in need of Redevelopment pursuant to the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq. (the “Redevelopment Law”) which determination/designation if so made, shall among other things, authorize the Township to use all of the powers provided by the Legislature under the Redevelopment Law for use in a Redevelopment area, including the exercise of the power eminent domain to acquire any property within the Study Area.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that at least ten (10) days prior to the above noted hearing date, copies of the preliminary investigation report are available for review by the public at the Planning Office, Monday through Friday, between 8:30AM and 4:30PM.
