PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF BOND ORDINANCE FINAL ADOPTION/STATEMENT
AND SUMMARY

The Bond Ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted after a Public Hearing thereon at a meeting of the Township Council of the Township of South Brunswick, New Jersey held on April 15, 2026, and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement by posting on the township website at https://southbrunswicknj.gov/legal-notices-all-active/ . Copies of the full Bond Ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Office of the Township Clerk in the Township Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey for members of the general public who request the same. The summary of the terms of such Bond Ordinance follows:

Title: BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CAPITAL AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR AND BY THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH BRUNSWICK, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF $9,930,000 THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $9,433,500 IN BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF

Purpose: The improvements authorized and the purpose for the financing of which the bonds are to be issued are utility capital improvements required with respect to the Pump Station #13 Generator – One (1) New UL2200 Listed, EPA Tier 2 Certified, Caterpillar Emergency Generator Model C18, Diesel fueled, rated 600kW Standby Power, 277/480 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 1800rpm, 60 Hertz. Generator Package to include manufacturer’s standard model features and optional attachments, together with all work and materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto.

Appropriation: $375,000
Bonds/Notes Authorized: $375,000
Section 20 Costs: $75,000
Useful Life: 15 years
