PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF INTRODUCED/PENDING BOND ORDINANCE

AND SUMMARY     

The Bond Ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, was introduced and approved upon First Reading at a meeting of the Township Council of the Township of South Brunswick, New Jersey held on March 18, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage after Public Hearing thereon at a meeting of said Township Council to be held on April 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey.  A copy of such Bond Ordinance has been posted on the Township’s website and in the Township Municipal Building during the week prior to and up to and including the date of said meeting. Copies of such Bond Ordinance will be made available at the Office of the Township Clerk in the Township Municipal Building to members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such Bond Ordinance follows:

Title: BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR AND BY THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH BRUNSWICK, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF $375,000 THEREFORE, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $375,000 IN BONDS OR                NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF

Purpose:  The improvements authorized and the purpose for the financing of which the bonds are to be issued are utility capital improvements required with respect to the Pump Station #13 Generator – One (1) New UL2200 Listed, EPA Tier 2 Certified, Caterpillar Emergency Generator Model C18, Diesel fueled, rated 600kW Standby Power, 277/480 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 1800rpm, 60 Hertz. Generator Package to include manufacturer’s standard model features and optional attachments, together with all work and materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto.
