Access to Public Records

Township Council minutes, contracts, ordinances, resolutions and much additional information is available for review in the Municipal Building. Public records may be requested at the Municipal Clerk’s Office or at the appropriate department counter.


In addition, you can click on this hyperlink to find some ordinances, resolutions and Township Council Meeting minutes. There is new information being added every day. It’s probably a good idea to start searching there, because there are no fees involved. Our entire code is also available online at

Request

Pursuant to the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) a Records Request Form is available and may be downloaded below. Some records will be immediately available during normal business hours and some records which require time to compile and to make the copies requested should be available within seven (7) business days.

Copy Fees

Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, the fee assessed for the duplication of a printed record shall be: $.05 cents for a letter size copy and $.07 cents for a legal size copy. For a police report, there is an additional fee when the request is not made in person of $5.00 or a pick up fee of $1.00 per page, as provided by N.J.S.A. 39:4-131 and by local ordinance. There is no fee involved in simply inspecting a document during normal business hours.
