The HS Rec league has 2 divisions - 9/10th Grade and 11/12th Grade. There is a maximum of 24 teams in the league. There is a 10 game regular season and playoffs.
All games will be played at Greenbrook School. Games will be scheduled Monday-Friday at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 (make-up games can also be played on Saturdays).
The season will begin on the first Monday in December and be completed before spring sport try-outs start. Your team will play 1-2 times a week. Each team will play 3 games in December. The schedule will start again in January. No games will be scheduled on full day school closings.

SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR IN TRAINING INTERNSHIP
South Brunswick Recreation offers a Counselor in training internship. Here is what the process for hiring CIT volunteers.
First we contact previous summer employees to see how many staff members will be returning. This helps us understand how many people we will need to hire for the upcoming camp year.
We will be accepting CIT applications until Friday March 15th. Please download the application on the bottom of this page.
Once your child has completed the application, please drop it off here at the Recreation Center, by the deadline.
Once the deadline for CIT applications has been reached, we then look over all applications and start to schedule CIT interviews. These interviews will be scheduled to best accommodate both us and your child.
Once all applicants have been interviewed, all applications and interviews will be thoroughly evaluated and emails and letters of intent will be mailed out.
Just so you are aware: part of the decision process is based on several factors.
We understand that most CIT applicants are young, 14-15 years old. This is likely their first experience in applying for a “job”. We do not expect them to come to us having experience in working, as we do love to provide the early experiences and responsibilities of a young person’s first job. What we do expect is to understand the responsibility of showing up on time and to keep the lines of communication open. Once the initial communication with the parent happens, we typically want to start working and talking with the applicant themselves.
